Ok but then what are the prices? 20% off unknown is unknowable Great question! I too dislike when someone doesn't list prices. However, I am listing prices - I'm just doing it at the square.site portal itself, where you can also book the appointment!
If I'm 75 and just need help fixing my sprinklers, can I still call? Certainly, it's not an exclusive offer! If you need me to scratch out "dad" and put "son" or "brother" on the receipt, we can do that. All ages welcome, anyone that needs a helping hand to come by and sort through a to-do list with you. The recursive acronym isn't mandatory.
Wait - not a licensed contractor, do you know what you're doing? I have directed large construction projects, slow-flipped several homes after extensive remodeling of each, served as project manager for many very large and complex engineering projects including being a SYSIAO (Sytems Information Assurance Officer) for a Electronic Health Records system that spanned the entire DoD, spent a couple decades as a UNIX admin and cybersecurity consultant, and alllllmost successfully started a large urban winery and live event venue were it not for an unfortunately timed global pandemic. During all that I have done anything this service offers, many many times. I have now chosen to be more connected to my local community, and this seems to be a great vehicle for doing so.
That said, Dad doesn't come over to redo all your plumbing, he comes over to replace a faucet; dad doesn't come over to change your main service panel, he comes over help set up your home theater, or interpret IKEA build instructions with you. This service is only for doing what a dad would do, if you had a nearby dad willing and able to do it.
Note that while I won't be doing things which require a licensed contractor (structural, or any non-minor plumbing, electrical, etc over $1000), I do intend to get a C-10 Electrical contractor license in the future.
